Street Fighter characters intersecting in a variety of mobile games are nothing really new to these regions, but the latter is the first in some time to be associated with another of Capcom’s famous properties.
Ryu and Chun-Li are officially available to do Maverick in the Mega Man X DiVE versions as well as a boss fight for Akuma.
The available World Warriors can be used to traverse, they won’t be relegated solely to their fists, as players can equip them with various Megabusters and other weapons.
It is also confirmed that some iconic moves like the Hadoken can also be acquired, which is quite appropriate given that X could learn this and the Shoryuken in previous titles in the series.
In addition to the full fighters, other Street Fighter 5 characters like Cammy, Dan, Juri, and Zangief are included as dive cards during the event using their official renderings.
Unfortunately for those of us in the West, this Capcom collaboration appears to only be available in the Japanese version of the game at this time, with other Asian territories receiving it before the end of the month.
There is currently no confirmation as to when we will be able to run around the shooting bots with Ryu, but we can be sure they will arrive in the near future.
Mega Man X DiVE is available on Android and iOS devices. Additionally, a Steam version of the title is also set to release in Asian regions this month.
