Japanese Blog Discontinued

I discontinued my Japanese blog so that I can have more time to write in English. Having a separate blog for almost the same topics is always a trade-off. As spending writing the same topic for two languages is a sheer waste of time, I decided to choose whichever I‘m comfortable with.

Writing a Japanese yielded differnt types of visitors. Before starting to write in Japanese, less than 10 percent of all the visitors were from Japan. But now more than 30 percent of the visitors are from Japan, though there’s no way to tell the nationality of users. This trend has been fueled with my very short rantings in the Japanese blog.

I will spend more time on writing and developing on this website. No finai decision was made. I consider hierarchical categories and tags. As I write about more various subjects, I’ll have a feed for each category/tag. (Yes, I already have the feature, but that’s not as visible as I expected to be.) Some are interested in Mac software, some are in software business, some are in user experience, some are in web apps and others are in my personal stories. Although I loathe tag clouds, I may experiment it for a short time.

Some seem not to prefer e-mail for casual communication. You can always find me at Facebook and Twitter.

I know I need a better pic of me.
