I think (or hope) I’m not the only one who has experience with being confused with Delete key and Backspace key on Mac. My first computer is Mac, so when I use Windows, the difference used to bug me a lot. That was until I consult Wikipedia for the two keys. Keyboard-related confusion occurs due to the traditions of good and old typewriters and Unix computers.
On Macintosh computers, […] the backspace key is called the delete key, while a separate key, also called delete and in the traditional location above the cursor arrows, serves as a forward delete key.
